FAQs Frequently Asked Questions About Affinity by Vantem
Everything you need to know about Vantem’s high-end, single-family homes — from how they’re built and where they’re available to how they compare to traditional construction.
What is Affinity by Vantem?
Affinity by Vantem is the single-family modular home solution built at the Vantem Lakeland Productivity Hub in Georgia. These homes combine high-end design, customizable floor plans, and durable construction that can withstand hurricane-force winds.
If you’re searching for multi-family modular housing, senior living communities, or student housing, explore Vantem.com. Those solutions are proudly built at the Vantem Clio Productivity Hub.
Are Affinity homes modular, manufactured, or mobile homes?
Affinity by Vantem homes are permanent modular homes, not manufactured or mobile homes. They are built to the same local and state building codes as site-built houses. This means they are financed, insured, and appraised exactly like traditional homes—but completed faster and with greater consistency.
How do I buy an Affinity by Vantem home?
Vantem does not sell homes directly to the public. Instead, we partner with licensed, authorized builders who handle site preparation, foundations, and finishing work. To buy an Affinity home, start by filling out our contact form and we’ll connect you with a trusted builder in your area.
Can I customize an Affinity home?
Yes. Homebuyers can either bring their own plan to their authorized builder or select from an existing Affinity floor plan. Our homes are highly customizable—buyers can choose finishes, layouts, and exterior styles. The in-house Vantem design and engineering team works directly with your builder to bring your vision to life.
Where are Affinity by Vantem homes available?
Affinity homes are available across the Southeastern United States, including:
- Florida
- Georgia
- South Carolina
- North Carolina
- Alabama
- Mississippi
- Louisiana
- Tennessee
How durable are Affinity homes?
Affinity homes are engineered for strength and resilience. Many can be built to withstand 180+ mph wind speeds and meet even Miami-Dade county code standards. These standards provide homeowners with peace of mind.
How energy-efficient are Affinity homes?
Affinity homes are designed with advanced insulation, energy-efficient systems, and precision factory construction. Homeowners enjoy lower energy bills, consistent comfort, and superior indoor air quality compared to many site-built homes.
How long does it take to build an Affinity home?
Because Affinity homes are built in the controlled environment of the Vantem Lakeland Productivity Hub and then finished onsite by your builder, construction timelines are much shorter. Homeowners typically move in months faster than with traditional site-built construction.
Do you have model homes I can tour?
Yes. The Kingfisher model home is available to tour at the Vantem Lakeland site during our quarterly Open House events. Visit our Open House information page to see upcoming dates and register. You can also check out our page with home walk throughs.
